Bangalore, Oct 16: Two passengers perished in a sudden fire that engulfed two bogies of Hyderabad-Solapur Falaknuma Express, while it was stationary at the Gulbarga station this afternoon.
The bogies caught fire at around 2 pm.
Railway sources said, the bogies caught fire because some persons were cooking food in one of the bogies.
Other passengers and railway officials rushed to evacuate both the coaches and the passengers were sent to the waiting room.
