Amid the intensified political mudslinging between the Bhartiya Janta Party and the All India Trinamool Congress over the Sandeshkhali incident, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said on Monday that the BJP is preparing a blueprint of lies to win the Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

While campaigning for the party candidate from Birbhum MP  Satabdi Roy, the West Bengal Chief Minister at Santhia in Birbhum district, lashed out at the BJP. She accused the BJP of having two top national-level leaders who are 'looting the whole country but defaming Bengal to hide their sins." "The BJP is chalking out a blueprint to win polls by spreading lies. Will you vote for a riot plotter, PM?" the TMC supremo added.

Moreover, speaking further, the TMC supremo also targeted the BJP over the recent update on the Sandeshkhali incident. Accusing the BJP of weaving a false narrative about Sandeshkhali, Banerjee said, "You (the BJP) have heaped disrespect and indignity on crores of mothers and sisters in Bengal. You offered them money to level charges. You should be ashamed of such an act."

"BJP and its corrupt leaders have left no stone unturned to instigate violence in Sandeshkhali and dishonor its women. What else can we expect from a party that began its political journey with violence? Surely not peace and harmony," Banerjee added.

Further, it is pertinent to note that, on the Sandeshkhali update, a purported video has recently surfaced featuring a BJP leader alleging women in Sandeshkhali filed sexual harassment complaints at the behest of BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari.

However, BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari had vehemently denied the allegations, calling the video a “TMC conspiracy." Moreover,in the aftermath of TMC's'sting video', the state unit of the BJP has also released a video featuring the same BJP leader from the TMC clip, where he alleged that his voice had been “tampered with”. Posting the video link, the BJP West Bengal unit said, "Though falsehood may dance around for a while, truth's steady march endures. As the saying goes, 'Truth is like the sun. You can shut it out for a time, but it ain't going away.' Remember that, Koyla Bhaipo."
