West Bengal Exit Poll Results HIGHLIGHTS: The fiercely contested West Bengal Lok Sabha Elections 2024 came to a conclusion on June 1 with the voting in the last phase of polling. The Exit Poll predictions for West Bengal predicted a massive win for the BJP in West Bengal.

West Bengal Lok Sabha Election 2024 Exit Poll HIGHLIGHTS: The Exit Poll predictions for West Bengal showed massive victory for the BJP. The electoral battle in the state has been fiercely fought, both by the ruling and the Opposition camps. The BJP may get its highest ever figures in Bengal in the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. West Bengal is one such state where the poll battle was fought with cutting-edge force and might from both the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the Opposition BJP and Congress. Mamata Banerjee-led TMC opted out of the I.N.D.I.A bloc and went in solo in the Lok Sabha Elections this time in the state whereas the Congress and the Left contested under the joint Opposition’s grand alliance. The BJP, on the other hand, fought solo battle and contested in all 42 seats. The state voted in all seven phases of the general elections starting April 19 and concluding June 1. Some big names which are in fray include Mamata’s nephew and TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee, who is contesting from Diamond Harbour, Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury from Berhampore, TMC leader Mahua Moitra from Krishnanagar, BJP’s Locket Chatterjee from Hooghly, TMC’s Shatrughan Sinha from Asansol. The TMC has fielded former cricketer Yusuf Pathan against Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury from Berhampore. The BJP had won 18 seats in West Bengal in the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections and TMC had grabbed 22 seats out of the 42 parliamentary constituencies in the state.
