The Union government has asked the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) to take over the security of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata.

Kolkata Police ASI Arup Dutta was questioned by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday as he is the close aide of prime accused Sanjor Roy.
The CBI had earlier obtained permission from a local court to conduct a polygraph test on Sanjay Roy, the civic volunteer who has been arrested for his alleged involvement in the case.
