1. Open the Personal Safety app to activate car crash detection.

3. Find "Car crash detection" and tap "Manage settings."

4. Turn on Car crash detection or agree when prompted.

5. If a severe car crash is detected, your phone will vibrate, ring loudly, and ask if you need help. To cancel, say “Cancel” or swipe “I’m OK” within 60 seconds.

6. Your phone will check if you're okay again. Swipe for "No crash" or "Minor crash." If you need help, swipe "Call 911."

7. In a crash, say “Emergency” or swipe "Call 911." If you don't respond, your phone will contact emergency services.

8. If you still don't respond, your phone will call emergency services, turn on speakerphone, and share your location. To stop the message and continue the call, tap Cancel.
