How to clean up spam and bot followers from your Instagram account

Launch the Instagram app on your smartphone. Image Source : File

Go to your profile and tap on "Followers." Image Source : File

If your Instagram identifies potential spam followers, you'll see a notification labelled "Potential spam." Image Source : File

Select "Remove all spam followers" to delete them in one go. Image Source : File

To mark an account as not spam, tap on the three dots (more actions) next to the account and choose "Not spam" to confirm. Image Source : File

Once removed, these potential spam followers will no longer appear in your follower count or list. They will not be notified of their removal. Image Source : File
