He picked up a total of 71 wickets in his World Cup career. Mitchell Starc is closest to with 54 wickets and might not pick 17 scalps more in World Cup 2023. He will turn 37 in 2027 and is unlikely to stick around in ODI format until then.

The legendary Sri Lanka cricketer affected 54 dismissals from behind the wickets. Mushfiqur Rahim, with 30 dismissals, is closest to him and is unlikely to make an appearance in 2027.
