Babar Azam, Pakistan's star batter and former captain, has been struggling for form in Test cricket in recent times and his wretched run continued in the ongoing series against Bangladesh. Babar's form has been directly proportional to his team's performance as Pakistan stare at a 2-0 series defeat

Babar aggregated just 64 runs in four innings against Bangladesh averaging 16 in the two Test matches. However, his run in the past 10 innings hasn't been great either as he didn't score a single half-century in this period

Babar averages a meagre 19, scoring just 190 runs in the last 10 innings and his reputation has taken a huge hit, especially in Test cricket. With Pakistan's spot in WTC final at stake and so many Test matches to come in the remaining part of the year, Pakistan will hope that Babar hits form sooner rather than later

Despite at not being his best in red-ball cricket of late, Virat Kohli has put up serious numbers in the last 10 innings including a couple of centuries in two fifties having played in four different continents

Kohli has aggregated 631 runs in the last 10 innings averaging 63.1, including a couple of centuries, one against the West Indies and the other against Australia at home

Kohli missed the England series earlier this year due to personal reasons and hence his last 10 innings go back until more than 18 months ago. His only low scores came in the WTC final at the Oval against Australia and a couple of innings in Cape Town against the Proteas

Comparison with Virat Kohli was a no-contest for Babar from the start and hence maybe that has put the latter under more scrutiny and criticism. Babar is still one of the best batters in this Pakistan line-up and star players can't stay without scoring for long and he will definitely be back
