Top 10 Indian batters in ICC Test rankings

1. Virat Kohli is top ranked Indian batter at 8th position with 744 rating points.

2. Yashasvi Jaiswal has climbed the ladder and is at 10th place with 727 rating points.

3. Rohit Sharma is next in this list at the 11th position and has 720 rating points to show for his efforts.

4. Rishabh Pant hasn't played Tests for more than a year but even then he is at 14th place in the rankings.

5. Shubman Gill is at the 31st position in rankings and is the fifth best Indian batter.

6. Ravindra Jadeja is at 37th place in rankings with 572 rating points. Given his batting in recent times, the left-hander is expected to climb the ladder.

7. Cheteshwar Pujara is no more a part of Indian Test team. But he is at 38th place in latest ICC rankings.

8. Ajinkya Rahane is also not part of the team anymore. He has 530 rating points and is at 48th position in ICC rankings.

9. Shreyas Iyer was recently dropped from the Test team. But he has done enough so far to be at 53rd place in the rankings.

10. Axar Patel is at 54th position in the rankings with 518 rating points to his name.
