It has been a good start definitely for Rizwan in Test cricket as since his return to the side in whites, he has made the spot his own. However, can Rizwan sustain the same over a period of time and after playing in different conditions? That will be a challenge for Rizwan now in the next couple of years

MS Dhoni, on the other hand, ended his career as one of the greats of the game, he didn't have the best of records in Test cricket

Dhoni, who has a career average of 38.09 in Tests, scored 4,876 runs in his career, with 1,614 of them coming in the first 32 matches. Dhoni averaged 35.9 in 51 innings

Dhoni only had one century to his name in the format after 32 matches, that too in Pakistan and 11 half-centuries. However, his strike rate (63.6) was definitely better than what Rizwan has (55.12)

Overall, Rizwan is far ahead in terms of numbers and performance after 32 Tests as compared to Dhoni. However, Dhoni's numbers only improved as he went on to play Test cricket for six more years after that. Can Rizwan sustain and maintain his consistency?
