All eight teams for the event have been confirmed following the completion of the World Cup 2023 league phase. The qualification criteria was that the teams needed a top-eight finish in the WC points table Image Source : Getty

1 - India have qualified for the Champions Trophy for the 9th time in as many seasons. They were table-toppers in WC 2023 Image Source : Getty

2 - South Africa will also be playing in their 9th Champions Trophy event. They finished second in the WC standings Image Source : Getty

3 - Australia will feature in their 9th event. They were third in the WC points table Image Source : Getty

4 - New Zealand will also mark their 9th appearance. They are fourth in the WC standings Image Source : Getty

5 - Pakistan qualified for the Champions Trophy on virtue of being the host of it. They failed to reach the WC semis and finished 5th in the WC standings Image Source : Getty

6 - Afghanistan will be playing their 1st Champions Trophy. They secured the 6th place in WC 2023 Image Source : Getty

7 - England will feature in their 9th season as well. They finished 7th in WC Image Source : Getty

8 - Bangladesh took the final Champions Trophy spot. They will play in their 6th such event Image Source : Getty
