He has now shattered the all-time record for most sixes hit for an IPL team. He broke Chris Gayle's record
Kohli now has 241 sixes for RCB, the most by any batter for a single IPL franchise
The record earlier belonged to Gayle, who smacked 239 maximums for RCB
De Villiers is third with 238 sixes for RCB, followed by Kieron Pollard - 223 maximums for MI
Due to Kohli's 83-run outing, RCB managed to amass 182/6 against KKR
