250 runs in 11 matches is below-average for a player of Quinton de Kock's calibre and quality and the South African will be keen to turn it around in the T20 World Cup, which could be his last for the national side

Alzarri Joseph, the West Indies vice-captain, didn't have a great run for RCB in the few games he played but knowing the conditions at home and with extra responsibility, the right-arm pacer will lead the attack for his side

52 runs in 10 matches, it was as poor as IPL season as it could get for an overseas player but Glenn Maxwell just finds ways to put himself together on the biggest stage and it will not be a surprise if he wins Australia a game or two on his own

Anrich Nortje has been having a forgettable return to competitive cricket from his 8-month layoff. Nortje suffered pasting at the hands of batters at the death in the IPL and even against West Indies too, he wasn't at his best. However, playing in the big tournament as seen the best of Nortje in the past and SA head coach hopes for the same too
