There are also a few father and son duos that have played international cricket but have not featured in the marquee tournament. Yuvraj Singh did play in ODI World Cups but his father Yograj couldn't.

Lala Amarnath and Mohinder Amarnath: Lala played Test matches for India while his son Mohinder played a crucial role for the country in the 1983 edition

Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Tagenarine Chanderpaul: Shivnarine played in the 1996, 1999, 2003, 2007 and also in the 2011 World Cup edition for the West Indies. However, his son is yet to feature in a World Cup
