Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Poland on Wednesday, becoming the first Indian leader to visit the Central European country in 45 years.

The Prime Minister later paid homage at the memorial of Jam Saheb of Nawanagar, dedicated to Jam Saheb Digvijaysinhji Ranjitsinhji Jadeja, who provided refuge to Polish children escaping Soviet rule in WWII.
