Indian Navy and French Navy conduct maritime partnership exercise

INS Rana, a guided missile destroyer, and Sumedha, an indigenously constructed offshore patrol vessel, participated in a Maritime Partnership Exercise (MPX) alongside the French Navy Ship Surcouf.

From June 26 to June 29, the French frigate Surcouf of the La Fayette class visited Visakhapatnam and joined Indian Navy ships in a variety of activities.

They included professional and social interactions, sports fixtures and cross deck visits.
