The award was announced in 2019.

PM Modi said under President Putin's leadership, India-Russia relations have strengthened in all directions.
President Vladimir Putin thanked PM Modi for trying to help find a peaceful solution to the Ukraine crisis.
Putin noted that Russia and India worked closely on the international stage.
