Weather Update: Waterlogging, traffic snarls in Delhi-NCR after heavy rains

The Met Office predicted more showers throughout the remainder of the day, and heavy rain fell on Saturday in Delhi, submerging several parts of the national capital.

This was the season's first heavy spell of downpour. For further showers on Saturday, an "orange" alert has been issued.

Up until 2.30 p.m., the primary weather station in Delhi, the Safdarjung Observatory, recorded 98.7 mm of rainfall.
