The tomato flu or tomato fever is characterised by rashes and blisters that are red in colour.
Children under five who are affected by this flu have high fever and body ache.
The infected children will also have symptoms of dehydration and stomach pain.
Diarrhea and nausea, and vomiting are also some of the symptoms that are reported.
It also causes discolouration of hands and legs and skin irritation.
Coughing, sneezing, wheezing, or runny nose is also reported.
Tomato Flu patients may also witness tiredness and fatigue.
