Shah Rukh Khan to Deepika Padukone, list of actors who have received death threats

Shah Rukh Khan has been on the underworld's kill list ever since he became a well-known star. The actor received death threats again after last October on Thursday from Raipur. Khan protested in writing to the Maharashtra government in October that he had been receiving death threats after the box office success of his films "Pathan" and "Jawan," although the mafia had threatened him several times during his early career.

Deepika Padukone had maintained her composure in the face of threats, violence, and controversy during the "Padmaavat" and "Chhapaak" scandals. Despite criticism and threats to her safety, Padukone has remained steadfast in her devotion to her craft.

When Salman Khan was publicly threatened by Lawrence Bishnoi, his security cover was upped to Y+. Salman was put on the mobster's hit list in 1998 because he had hunted a black deer, which the gangster claimed the Bishnois revered. Bishnoi had threatened to kill Salman to get even with the actor.

Kangana Ranaut, a BJP MP and actress, was recently threatened due to her film Emergency. In a newly made video, a man was heard saying to Kangana, "If you release this movie, Sardars will beat you with slippers."
