Stepping into actor Kritika Kamra’s airy yet cosy Mumbai rental apartment, one is immediately struck by subtle sophistication and relaxed vibe.
Working with interior designer Purva Agrawal, Kritika has crafted an oasis in the city that perfectly reflects her personal aesthetic.
'I spend so much time in trailers that I needed this house to be my homely oasis,' said Kritika
'I know this is not a permanent house. For me, this is the house of my 30s,' said Kamra
As an actor not keen to fill her home with headshots and movie posters, her directive to the designer was to create something modern and multilayered.
She also hoped to incorporate textiles from Cinnabar, the handloom brand she founded during lockdown to celebrate India’s rich weaving traditions.
"I didn't want to move out of the house, but I wanted it to feel new—more like a home,” said Kritika Kamra
