National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a single entrance exam for admission to BDS colleges across India.
Admission to BDS colleges requires a good score, which depends on NEET cut-off marks.
As per previous years' NEET cut-off, the expected BDS cut-off can be anywhere between 720 to 137.
If you are seeking admission to a top dental medical college, you need to secure at least 600 plus marks.
Scoring between 400-500 is also a good score for admission to BDS courses in any dental college through state quota counseling.
If you score around 300 in NEET, you can still get into some private colleges depending on the ranks and scores of the competing candidates.
The counselling for admission is done by the Medical Counselling Committee for 15 per cent of AIQ seats and the remaining 85 is done by state quota.
