How can I get admission to KVS in Class 1?

Kendriya Vidyalaya registration process for admission to classes 1 to 12 for academic session 2024-25 is underway. Interested individuals can register themselves at the official website, kvsangathan.nic.in, and kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in.

The online registration procedure for class 1 admission began on April 1 and continues until April 15. Parents who wish to register their child in class 1 can do so before the last date.

For Class 1 admission, children should have attained a minimum age of six years as of March 31, 2024, with a cut-off date of April 1, 2018. Children must be between 3 to 6 years old as of March 31, 2024, for admission to Balvatika levels.

Parents can apply for Class 1 admission through the official website, kvsangathan.nic.in and kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in. No other mode of application will be entertained.

Parents are advised to be careful when filling in the details in the application form such as the child's name, parent's name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number.

After the completion of the registration procedure, the respective school will issue selected and waitlisted lists for class 1 on April 19, 29, and May 8.

15% of the total seats will be filled by SC students. While 7.50% of seats are filled by ST students.

The admission process will be done till June 29 for all classes except class 11.
