'Is it quid pro quo': Owaisi questions former CJI Gogoi's Rajya Sabha nomination

AIMIM President, Asaduddin Owaisi on Ranjan Gogoi's nomination to Rajya Sabha, said that if Mr. Gogoi will accept this offer than he is simply exposing himself and questions will be raised. He quoted Late Arun Jaitely's Rajya Sabha speech in which Jaitely said that judges, who have pronounced decisions right before their retirement, should not get immediate appointments. Owaisi highlighted some important cases like CBI, Ayodhya-Babri Masjid case and Rafale where Gogoi's decision was "politically beneficial" for BJP.
