Kot Lakhpat jail, the graveyard of Indian nationals
Kot Lakhpat jail is the same jail where Bhagat Singh was executed on March 23, 1931 along with Rajguru and Sukhdev, it is the Central Jail of Lahore. It is situated at at Rakh Chandra (Kot Lakhpat).Thus it is known as Kot Lakhpat Jail with reference to its location. The jail houses more than four times the 4000 prisoner capacity it was built for. Prisoners have been murdered in the prison in the past too
