Ball-tampering row: Steve Smith won't be considered for Australian captaincy for 2 years

The former Australia captain Steve Smith and vice-captain David Warner had earlier been handed over a 12-month suspension by Cricket Australia (CA) for their involvement in the ball-tampering scandal that took place during the third Test against South Africa in Cape Town. Smith will have to wait two years before they being considered for leadership roles, whereas, Warner will never be considered for any leadership positions in the Australian team.
