The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) may be contesting 170 of the 243 seats in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections.
The remaining 73 seats will be distributed among other three partners -- Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) of Ram Vilas Paswan, Rashtriya Lok Samata Party of Upendra Kushwaha and Hindustani Awam Morcha of former CM Jitam Ram Manjhi -- of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
A maximum of 40 seats was likely to go to LJP, followed by 20 seats to Rashtriya Lok Samta Party and 13 seats to Hindustani Awam Morcha.
