Do visit the Shankaracharya temple in Kashmir today. This temple is situated on a hill in Srinagar. Shankaracharya Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is believed that this temple was built by King Gopadtya in 371 AD. After which the temple was named Gopadri Mandir after the name of the king.
