Ghaziabad: A Rs 1,000 fine was imposed on two cops who were riding on their official motorbike without wearing helmets in Ghaziabad.
The incident surfaced after a video went viral on social media. It was recorded by two women who were on a scooty following the cops.
According to the video, the two women can be heard asking the cops why they were not wearing helmets. They repeatedly questioned the cops for riding without helmets.
"Aren't you ashamed... do rules don't apply to you...," they asked.
Taking cognizance of the video, the Ghaziabad Traffic Police has issued a challan of Rs 1,000 to the policemen.
