UP police reacts
The SP MLA confirmed that he deposited the Rs 2,000 challan that the city traffic police issued him for breaking traffic rules on Saturday.
He put a boat on the highest point of his SUV vehicle and began his demonstration from Sarsaiyya Ghat and crossed Bada Chauraha, Meston Street, Moolganj, Express Street, and Phoolbagh, the MLA added.
The majority of the city's areas, including VIP Road, Civil Lines, Babupurwa, Raipurwa, and Juhi Bridge, where a delivery boy allegedly drowned in a waterlogged road, have been affected by the prevalent waterlogging situation.
The delivery agent, Charan Singh, suffocated in a waterlogged underpass close to the Juhi Bridge on the night of June 22. His bike and body were recovered the next day.
