Uttar Pradesh: A viral video has sent shock waves through the country as an RPF jawan was seen hurting a child sleeping at a railway station with his foot. According to reports, the RPF jawan was caught misbehaving with the child at the Belthara Road Railway Station. The official was suspended after his video went viral, in which, he was seen pressing the neck of a sleeping child with his foot.
The video which showed the jawan misbehaving with the child near the main gate of the Belthara Road Railway Station went viral on social media.
"Taking note of the video, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) jawan, Balendu Singh, has been suspended," Ramesh Chandra Meena, In-charge, RPF Azamgarh, said.
