Uttar Pradesh accident: In a tragic incident, at least six people were dead when an auto-rickshaw collided with a speeding car in Uttar Pradesh's Agra district. According to police, the incident took place around 10.30 PM on Monday (July 3) near Kheragarh.
The deceased have been identified as Jayprakash, Sumit, Brajesh Devi, Brajmohan Sharma, Manoj Sharma and auto-rickshaw driver Bhola. Speaking to the media, Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Sonam Kumar said that two lost their lives on the sport, while four others succumbed to injuries during treatment at a hospital.
Meanwhile, Kheragarh police station in-charge Rajeev Kumar said the car's driver is on the run but his two aides -- Pinku and Baniya-- have been nabbed. He further said, prima facies it looked like the car's driver was under the influence of alcohol and the accident took place when he was returning home after dropping his friends off.

5 pilgrims killed, 34 injured in an accident
In a similar kind of incident, at least five pilgrims were killed and 34 other others were injured on July 3 in a collision between a car and a tractor-trolley. According to police, the accident took place on Agra-Delhi national highway at around 11:30 am under the Farah police station area.
Superintendent of Police (city) Martand Prakash Singh said the accident occurred when the pilgrims in the two vehicles were returning from Govardhan parikrama. He further informed that pilgrims who were travelling in the car were from Rajasthan's Bharatpur. On the other hand, the pilgrims travelling in the tractor-trolley were from Madhya Pradesh's Bhind.
