Uttar Pradesh: A total of 104 inmates lodged in various jails of Uttar Pradesh have cleared the class 10th and 12th examinations this year. The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Siksha Parishad on Tuesday released class 10th and 12th board examination results.
Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council, also known as UP Board, has declared 59 of the 62 inmates passed who appeared in the high school examination. Whereas, 45 of the 65 inmates who appeared for the class 12th examination were declared passed today. The official informed that the maximum number of inmates for the intermediate exam was recorded from Ghaziabad jail at 13.

11 of them have cleared the UP Board examination, the official informed. As for the Lucknow jail, out of eight inmates, six have been declared passed.
According to the board, at 11, the maximum number of inmates appeared for the Class 10th board exam from Hardoi jail and nine of them cleared it. Similarly, all 8 inmates of Ghaziabad jail too have passed the examination, reported PTI.
