Uttar Pradesh: Minor held for allegedly recording woman's obscene video, sharing it on social media

Uttar Pradesh: In a shocking incident, a 16-year-old boy has been apprehended for allegedly making an obscene video of a married woman. Later he posted the video on social media after the husband of the woman confronted him. According to Station House Officer (Koirauna) Pradeep Kumar, the boy used to work at a street food shop and used to visit the shop owner's house.

The official furhter said that the teen boy recorded the video of the shop owner's wife while she was taking a bath. The teen then started blackmailing her to have a relationship with him by threatening to upload the video on social media.

When the woman informed her husband about the incident, he then confronted the boy. Later, the minor posted the video on several WhatsApp groups.

An FIR under relevant sections of the IPC was registered against the boy on the basis of a complaint lodged by the woman. The boy was taken into custody on Saturday.
