A massive fire broke out in a hotel in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi late on Tuesday night. According to sources, the fire broke out on the upper floor of the Hari Vilas Hotel in Laksha district. Police reported that all those in the building were safe.
Chief Fire Officer Anand Singh Rajput said that the fire started in the upper part of the hotel. He further added, "The fire was brought under control after about an hour of operation." At least seven fire engines were present at the scene of the incident."
A fire official said that a thorough search will be conducted after the smoke clears from the rooms.
