Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday transferred 12 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers and 8 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers. In a major reshuffle, several district magistrates, Superintendents of Police (SPs) and Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) were transferred in Uttar Pradesh.
UP govt transfers 12 IAS officers
According to the transfer list released by the state government, Sitapur District Magistrate Anuj Singh has been reassigned to Moradabad, while Chitrakoot District Magistrate Abhishek Anand has been moved to Sitapur, as per news agency PTI.
Banda District Magistrate Durga Shakti Nagpal has been transferred to Lakhimpur Kheri. Nagendra Pratap, currently the Special Secretary of the Ayush Department, has been appointed as the district magistrate of Banda, and Kanpur Municipal Commissioner Shivsharanappa GN has been appointed as the district magistrate of Chitrakoot.
Ajay Kumar Dwivedi, the Special Secretary for the Agriculture Production Commissioner, has been appointed as the district magistrate of Shravasti. Additional State Project Director Madhusudan Hooghly has been named the district magistrate of Kaushambi.
Additionally, Sambhal District Magistrate Manish Bansal has been transferred to Saharanpur in the same capacity. Rajendra Pensia, the Special Secretary of Urban Development, has been appointed as the district magistrate of Sambhal.
Ashish Kumar, the Vice Chairman of the Saharanpur Development Authority, has been appointed as the district magistrate of Hathras. Medha Rupam, the Additional Chief CEO of Greater Noida, has been appointed as the district magistrate of Kasganj.
8 IPS officers transferred
Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) for Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, and Meerut are among the districts where IPS officers have been transferred. Additionally, Superintendents of Police (SPs) for Azamgarh, Pratapgarh, Chandauli, and Agra Railway have also been reassigned.
According to the transfer list, several senior police officers have been reassigned:
- SSP of Saharanpur, Vipin Tada, has been appointed as SSP of Meerut.
- SSP of Meerut, Rohit Singh Sajwan, has been made SSP of Saharanpur.
- SSP of Moradabad, Hemraj Meena, has been sent to replace the SP of Azamgarh.
- SSP of Bareilly, Ghule Sushil Chandrabhan, has been given the responsibility of SSP STF Lucknow.
Other transfers include:
- Azamgarh's SP, Anurag Arya, has been appointed as Bareilly's SSP.
- Pratapgarh's SP, Satpal, has been made SSP of Moradabad.
- Chandauli's SP, Anil Kumar, has been transferred to Pratapgarh as SP.
- SP, Railway Agra, Aditya Langhe, has been transferred and assigned the role of Chandauli's SP.
