Uttar Pradesh: Once again in a major crackdown against a mafia, the Uttar Pradesh government on Saturday carried out a demolition drive at the residence of Vinod Upadhyay in Gorakhpur. As per reports, Mafia Vinod Upadhyay is currently on the run and has a bounty of Rs 50,000. According to police, around 32 cases, including 4 murder cases, are registered against Updhayay.
In another video, a few men can be seen were seen demolishing the residence of Mafia Vinod Updhaya with hammers. This demolition drive is being carried out under the Gorakhpur district administration.
SP City Krishan Bishnoi in an interaction with reporters here informed that around 32 cases, including 4 murder cases, are registered against Updhayay who is currently on the run. "...He has 32 cases against him, including 4 murder cases...He is on the run for the past few days. He has encroached on the government land here and attempted encroachment on the adjacent plot of land too. He also built his house, worth crores of Rupees, here. The property was identified by GDA (Gorakhpur Development Authority) and is being demolished after that. Search for him is underway. The reward announced for his arrest will be increased..," SP City Krishan Bishnoi said.
