Five killed in Uttar Pradesh due to adverse weather conditions

In the last 24 hours, severe weather in Uttar Pradesh has resulted in five deaths, including two minors. Three individuals died in Shahjahanpur when strong winds caused a temporary shed to collapse.

In the last 24 hours, adverse weather conditions in Uttar Pradesh have led to the deaths of five individuals, including two minors, according to police reports. Three people lost their lives in Shahjahanpur when a temporary shed collapsed on them due to strong winds. Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar Meena identified the victims as Suraj (9), Manish (15), and Indresh (37). Manish died on the spot, while Suraj and Indresh succumbed to their injuries in the hospital. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examinations.

Heat stroke deaths in Kaushambi

In a separate incident in Kaushambi, two individuals, including an elderly woman, died from health complications believed to be caused by heat stroke. Chief Medical Officer Sushpendra Kumar stated that Ram Milan (35) and Sarika Bano (70) were admitted to the district hospital with symptoms resembling heat stroke. Both patients died within half an hour of admission. The exact cause of death will be confirmed following post-mortem examinations.

Power disruption in Lakhimpur Kheri

In Lakhimpur Kheri district, strong winds on Thursday night uprooted electricity poles, disrupting power supply for over four hours. Authorities worked to restore electricity as quickly as possible.

These incidents highlight the severe impact of the recent adverse weather conditions in various parts of Uttar Pradesh.
