General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra, Champat Rai released images of several ancient temple remains found during excavation in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya.
The pictures shared by Rai showed parts of idols carved out of large stones and pillars. Sharing the images of the idols on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, he wrote, "Sharing some more pictures of remains of the ancient temple that have been discovered at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi site in Ayodhya."
The official account of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra on X last week shared pictures of the first floor of the Ram Temple which is currently under construction in Ayodhya.
Earlier, the trust had proposed holding the consecration ceremony of the Ram Lalla idol on January 21, 22, or 23 next year. The trust members had earlier said they would be sending an official invite to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the event. The trust is also planning to provide free food for about a month to the devotees coming for the consecration ceremony in Ayodhya.
Meanwhile, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust had sent a formal invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the consecration of the idol of Lord Rama in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram Temple January next year. The trust will extend invitations to around 10,000 guests for the ceremony.
