The Uttar Pradesh Police's Anti-Terrorist Squad has been questioning Pakistani citizen Seema Haider, who entered India illegally in May and is staying with her partner Sachin Meena in Noida. Haider (30) was first arrested by the local police in Greater Noida on July 4 but was granted bail by a court on July 7.
Meanwhile, Pakistan's intelligence agencies have informed the country's government that "love" is the "only" factor that led the mother of four to sneak into India to live with a Hindu man whom she befriended through an online game platform, a media report said on Monday.
WHAT WE KNOW SO FAR
- Seema has so far maintained that she is not a spy and is just in love with Sachin Meena.
- UP ATS has also scanned her mobile and is questioning her brother and uncle being in the Pakistan Army. According to sources, in the chat details recovered from Seema's mobile phone, she used very simple and clear language. During interrogation, the ATS also asked whether she used ISI codewords. The chat is also very clear in Hindi and some words in English (using Hinglish). While interrogation, Seema told that she learned to speak Hindi and English in jail.
- Till now major evidence relating to espionage has been found by the ATS
- She gave almost the same answer to every question which was asked by the Noida Police during interrogation. However, police still think that Seema may have received very strict professional training. That's why the police can also make a psychologist sit with them during the interrogation.
- According to reports, Seema Haider has not been able to give a correct answer about who helped her to reach Rabupura village in Noida.
- Seema was also asked why she sent friend requests to some army officers. To which, she wasn't able to give correct answers.
- She was also asked how she has deep know-how of Hindu rituals
- On Tuesday, both Sachin and Seema were brought face-to-face for questioning.
