Atiq Ahmed's Killing: Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Ram Gopal Yadav on Sunday made a shocking statement on the killing of Atiq Ahmed saying that it's the media which made him a gangster adding several cases were registered against him but he was not proven guilty.
"...Media made him gangster... sometimes some things happen by big people... there are people who are sitting at big positions and kill 10-15 people by using bombs but no one terms them a gangster," Ram Gopal Yadav said in Etawah.
"...so many cases were filed against Atiq Ahmed but he was not proven guilty... fake cases are filed against people every day... Atiq Ahmed became MLA in 1989, 1991, 1993, 1995 and an MP from Phulpur in 14th Lok Sabha. It's not that all goons win the elections. He won for a record 3 times as an independent candidate...," Ram Gopal Yadav added.
