A massive fire broke out in a chemical factory in the industrial area of Surajpura police station area of Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh, causing widespread panic and destruction. There was panic among people who witnessed the flames and smoke.
As soon as the fire department received the information, local authorities and fire tenders rushed to the spot. Fire tenders have been deployed to combat the blaze. The fire broke out in Surajpur Side C.

As a precautionary measure, the nearby factories were also evacuated. As it can be seen in the video, huge smoke was seen emanating from the area.
Fire due to short circuit
The cause of the fire is unclear and authorities are working to determine the exact reason behind the incident. However, it is believed that a short circuit might be the cause of the fire. So far, no casualties have been reported.
