A lawyer was shot dead in broad daylight in his chambers in Ghaziabad court on Wednesday. According to reports the lawyer was sitting in the chamber when he was attacked.
As per initial reports, advocate Manoj alias Monu Chowdhary was having lunch, when two attackers entered chamber 95 and started firing indiscriminately. After the incident, there was ruckus in the entire tehsil.
On receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot and investigating the incident is pon. The miscreants entered the chamber and shot a lawyer named Monu Chaudhary, due to which the lawyer died on the spot. The body has been sent for postmortem.
Police said the two attackers have been identified in the CCTV footage who entered the tehsil at around 1:38 PM and had hid faces with handerchief.
