Nadda launches 'Meri Maati, Mera Desh' campaign

Nadda launched the Meri Mati, Mera Desh program in Ghaziabad. He inaugurated the campaign by placing soil from Major Mohit Sharma's home in Ghaziabad into an earthen pot. These pots will be collected at the district level and brought to Delhi.

Addressing the workers at the launch of Meri Mati, Mera Desh campaign, the BJP chief said, "With the Chandrayaan mission, India has become the first nation to land a spacecraft on the south pole region of the Moon. Today, Aditya L-1 mission will be launched to study the Sun..."

He said India has experienced significant growth in the field of infrastructure adding that over the past nine years, India has risen to the fifth position, surpassing the United Kingdom, to become the fifth-largest economy. “Today, our country has grown exponentially in the sector of infrastructure. In the last nine years, India has reached the fifth spot, leaving behind Britain, to become the fifth largest economy,” said the BJP chief.

'Pledge to transform India into a developed nation'

Nadda further urged people to visit villages and panchayats with the aim of 'Amritkaal' and take a pledge to transform India into a developed nation by August 15, 2047. "I request you all to go villages, panchayats with the objective of  'Amritkaal' and take the resolve to make India a developed nation by August 15, 2047," says BJP chief JP Nadda in his address at 'Meri Maati, Mera Desh' event in UP's Ghaziabad.

"I have taken a pinch of soil from five households along with two granules of rice and we'll collect it from every ward in a vessel. This vessel will reach the Municipal Corporation or Committee and from there it will reach the state's capital Lucknow. Our Chief Minister will welcome it and our workers will carry 8000 vessels from 7500 blocks and 500 municipalities to Kartavya Path in Delhi at the end of October. All the BJP workers there will take an oath of the 'Desh ki Maati' that they will take care of the safety and security of the nation and will not leave any stone unturned in making India a developed nation in the Amrit Kaal,"  he added.
