Greater Noida News: A speeding truck rammed a tourist van (Tempo Traveller) near Maicha village of Dadri Kotwali area on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway on Tuesday morning killing two people and injuring about 10 others.
The injured have been admitted to a local hospital.
According to reports, a child onboard the tourist van was among those who succumbed to injuries. All the people in the van were from Rajasthan and returning to their native place from Kainchi Dham in Uttarakhand.
One of the travellers, who was injured in the accident, said that the driver was trying to park the vehicle on the side of the expressway, and suddenly a speeding truck rammed the vehicle from behind.
The police have registered a case and search is on for the truck involved in the accident.
