Muzaffarnagar accident: In a tragic incident, at least six people were killed when a car they were travelling in crushed under a 22-wheeler truck in Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar district. According to the information, the accident occurred at National Highway 58 when the car was going from Delhi to Haridwar.
All the deceased are said to be from Delhi's Shahdara. The bodies were later sent for post-mortem. The deceased have been identified as Shivam, Parsh, Kunal, Dheeraj, Vishal and one of their friends. The car, trapped under the truck, was pulled out by the police and rescue workers.

"Today Chhapar police station received information about a road accident on Shahpur NH 58. On receiving the information, area officer Sadar and police station in-charge Chhapar immediately reached the spot and inspected the spot and found that one Ciaz car went out of control and rammed into one truck from behind. All the six people travelling in the car died on the spot," Circle Officer (CO) Vinay Gautam said.
He further said that the relatives of deceased were informed and bodies sent for autopsy. The damaged vehicles were also removed from the spot and the traffic was made to run smoothly, Gautam said. At present the law and order situation at the spot is normal, the CO stated.
