IPS officers transferred in UP: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government has transferred a total of 11 IPS officers including police commissioners of Lucknow and Prayagraj.
Prayagraj Police Commissioner IPS Ramit Sharma has been made ADG of Bareilly Zone while IPS Amarendra Singh Sengar has been made the new Commissioner of Lucknow.
IPS Amarendra Kumar Sengar is a 1995 batch officer. He has the charge of Lucknow Zone ADG. He has been IG in SSB. In 2017, when Rajnath Singh was the Home Minister, he was his OSD.
Meanwhile, IPS Prem Chand Meena who was till now posted in Bareilly as Additional Director General of Police, has been appointed as Additional Director General of Police. CMD, Police Housing Corporation. SB Shiradkar, who was posted as Police Commissioner in Lucknow, has been transferred as Additional Director General of Police, Lucknow Zone.
Along with this, IPS Prakash D, Binod Kumar Singh, Jai Narayan Singh, LV Antony, Dev Kumar have been transferred. Amarendra Kumar Senge, Raghuveer Lal, K Satyanarayan, BD Palson and Ramit Sharma have been transferred. Till now Ramit Sharma was posted as Police Commissioner, Police Commissionerate, Prayagraj but now he has been sent as Additional Director General of Police, Training, Additional Director General of Police, Bareilly Zone.
