Atiq Ahmed, brother shot dead: Killers of gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed and his brother had several cases registered against them and wanted to be gangsters. They were not in contact with their families and one of them was a drug addict, reports have said.
Yagya Tiwari, father of one of the assailants Lovelesh said that they were not aware of his actions, nor in contact with him. He was not living with them and was a drug addict.
"He is my son. We saw the incident on TV. We are not aware of the actions of Lovelesh nor do we have anything to do with this. He never lived here and neither was he involved in our family affairs. He did not tell us anything. He came here five to six days ago. We have not been on talking terms with him for years. There is already a case registered against him. He was jailed in that case," said Yagya Tiwari, father of Lovelesh.
"He doesn't work. He was a drug addict. We have four children. We have nothing to say about this," Yagya Tiwari said.
Asha, the mother of Lovelesh Tiwari said, "Don't know what was written in his fate...(Pata nahi uske naseeb mein kya likha tha)".
Kin of another shooter Sunny Singh, said that he used to wander around and was jobless.
Pintu Singh, brother of Sunny Singh said, "We live separately and don't know how he became a criminal. We have no idea about the incident."
All three killers were arrested yesterday when they committed the crime in the presence of several people including media and locals.
