Atiq Ahmed News: It's been over a week since the sensational killing of gangster Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf in Prayagraj, however, details of his criminal planning keep tumbling out of the closet every day. In the latest revelation in the Umesh Pal murder case, details about how Atiq Ahmed made a 'foolproof' plan to dodge the police has come to light.
'Operation Janu'
During police interrogation, Atiq and Ashraf had told the cops that Shaista Parveen (Atiq's now absconding wife) had called a meeting at her Chakia house of those who would be involved in Umesh Pal's broad daylight murder. Atiq and Shaista's younger son Asad was also present in the meeting, during which she gave the shooters some money.

Plan to hoodwink police
While Asad was tasked to lead the 'operation', Atiq had also asked his son not to reveal his identity under any circumstances. A monkey cap was also purchased for the purpose, however, it wasn't used by Asad as a result of which his face was captured in CCTV cameras during Umesh Pal's murder on February 24. The police recovered this monkey cap during investigations.
Apart from this, Asad handed over his mobile and ATM card to his close aide Aatin Ashraf, who was asked to use these in Lucknow exactly at the same time when Asad and his team would attack Umesh Pal in Prayagraj. The police have recovered the CCTV of Aatin using Asad's ATM card.
Aatin later fled to Hyderabad where his uncle helped him to find shelter. However, he was arrested by the police.
Where is Guddu Muslim?
Atiq Ahmed's close aide Guddu Muslim, who was part of the 'team' that eliminated Umesh Pal is still out of the police's net. However, sources said the SIT probing the case is on trail and he would be nabbed soon. The probing team had earlier received inputs that Guddu Muslim, who has a bounty of Rs 5 lakh on his head, was located in Puri, Odisha but fled from there. As per the latest information, his last location was in West Bengal's Murshidabad and he may be arrested anytime.
