A viral video has captured a 10-foot-long crocodile trying to climb a railing in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. The reptile had crawled out of a nearby canal and entered the area, causing alarm among locals. In the video, the crocodile attempted to scale the railing to jump into the river Ganga below but ultimately fell back to the ground. The authenticity and specific timing of the video remain unverified.
Forest officials spring into action
Residents alerted the forest department, prompting a swift response from Forest Range Officer Mohit Chaudhary and crocodile rescue expert Pawan Kumar. The rescue team used a cloth to cover the crocodile's head and secured its mouth and legs with ropes. The female crocodile was later safely released into its natural habitat.

In a separate incident in Assam’s Nagaon district, a resident discovered 35 snakes in their bathroom. Animal rescuer Sanjib Deka successfully captured and released the snakes into the wild. A video shared by ANI shows the snakes being collected in a bucket from the newly constructed toilet of the house.
